Calling all Golden Retriever lovers!

An afternoon built around good dogs and even better company.

Join us for a day dedicated to everything we love about Goldens… community, connection, and a whole lot of wagging tails.

Golden Palooza is hosted by Appalachian Dog Training, home to a purpose-bred Golden Retriever program focused on health, temperament, and trainability. This event is a chance to gather with other owners, meet like-minded dog people, and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming environment with your pup. Whether you’re part of the Appalachian Dog Training family or new to us, you’re invited!

All friendly, leashed Golden Retrievers (and their humans!) are welcome.

Rain or Shine

Golden Palooza is happening rain or shine! If showers roll in, we’ll move the fun indoors and onto the covered porch so everyone can stay comfortable and enjoy the day.

Golden Retrievers and their owners gather in the grassy play area during Golden Palooza in Mills River, NC.
